Margaret Jarry

Learning Specialist

Margaret Jarry, M.Ed., is a certified learning therapist with years of experience helping children with learning differences achieve their full potential. She holds a Master of Education from Pacific Oaks University where she graduated summa cum laude. She is also a specialized academic instructor in Santa Monica where she works with kids in special education.


Margaret has professional training in multi-sensory instruction and is well-versed in a wide variety of

reading, math and writing programs, including Orton-Gillingham, the Wilson Reading System, Touch Math, and Step up to Writing.


Margaret specializes in working with children who have challenges including but not limited to dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and executive functioning challenges. She offers a range of services, including individualized academic assessments and one-on-one therapy sessions. Her warmth and compassion make children develop a strong connection to her, critical for learning and growth. She uses a strengths-based approach which focuses on building self-confidence and resilience, helping students not only improve academically but also improve their self-esteem.


In addition, Margaret holds a B.A. from Lake Forest College and an M.A. from the University of Southern California. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her two children Chloe and Henry, both of whom have their own academic and social challenges. In addition she enjoys staying updated on the latest educational methodologies.
